Hola from the Vega Baja where I’m on double time again. Yep, it’s another public holiday in Valencia (Día de la Comunidad Valenciana)!
I thought this a fairly benign puzzle with nothing to really frighten the horses .  There are a couple of clues where either I’m missing something or they aren’t quite right. I’ll be interested to see if anyone can explain further.

Morning All!. I found this a very enjoyable puzzle that just stayed inside **** territory based on my solving time. The parsing of some of the clues and the surface readings greatly increased my enjoyment and satisfaction.

I thought that this was on the easyish side for a Beam puzzle and my only hold-ups were in the NW corner. The Queen appears to have gone walkabout but, that apart, all his usual characteristics are on show including a shortage of anagrams and several bits of amusing innuendo.

Yesterday, on our morning walk, we saw the first flock of Bar-tailed Godwits that have returned to our estuary from their breeding ground in Alaska. Incredibly, they make this journey non-stop. We are always pleased to see them safely home again each year.
