Morning all!
While the gang are away in that London, I’m going to babysit things for the next couple of weekends.
Incidentally if you are bored today once you have finished this enjoyable puzzle, one of my puzzles is the General Knowledge Jumbo challenge in the Independent. There is a prize for completing the puzzle, and one for getting the link between three of the answers, and the prize is very upmarket chocolate!
Incidentally, special good wishes go to everyone taking part in the Times Crossword Championships today, can anyone defeat the perennial champion Mark Goodliffe? I think he might have a challenger or two this year. A few of our brothers and sisters from these parts are taking part and extra special wishes to them!

Morning All!. Lots of word sums in the puzzle this week. It made it quite straightforward to solve but there were a couple of really good clues for me.

Hola from the Vega Baja where it’s looking like a nice day but was a bit chilly when I first got up. I think autumn has arrived.
I’m pretty sure we have a RayT today which I guess will fill some of you with dread, but don’t be too downhearted as it’s at the easier end of his spectrum. There’s a few anagrams to get you going and nothing to really frighten the horses. I enjoyed it and I’ll be interested to see if we get any converts today.

This Sunday puzzle was almost but not quite a ‘start with the Downs’ but everything got sorted out in just over 2* time and a pleasurable time was had both solving the crossword and preparing the review. I especially liked 29a and 8d.
