Morning All!. This felt like a Cephas puzzle to me. I found it fairly straightforward but very enjoyable.

I didn’t need to be grumpy today because I enjoyed this puzzle even though it wasn’t all that difficult and I did have trouble with some of the wordplay (especially for 21 down). At least my grumpiness last week seemed to lead to an increase in the number of comments. This was most welcome following the previous Thursday’s record low of 6 comments

Morning All! A delightful puzzle in my book. Most of the ‘in’ that you see links the definition to the wordplay (or vice-versa). Most of the wordplay is astounding too!

Greetings from Ottawa where spring is desperately striving to make an appearance but winter is not exiting the stage gracefully. Everything seems to be a good month behind schedule.
Today’s puzzle is definitely not by Ray T. Might it be the work of Petitjean? I will leave it to those more knowledgeable than I to make that determination.

The presence of 9a in this enjoyable puzzle makes me think that there must be some sort of theme, but the only possibility that I can see is the number of cooks mentioned in the clues, including the brilliant Peter. I’m sure that I’ll be put right if I’ve missed anything else.

This is enjoyable but not too much of a stretch. I’m not keen on 17d and one of the homophones seems very dodgy to me. Do let us know what you thought of the puzzle and how you fared.
