Bonjour from Camping La Garenne at St Laurent du Pape in the Ardèche. I’m sitting outside typing this on a beautiful sunny morning. The site WiFi is a bit slow, so no illustrations today.
It may just be that I’m on holiday and out of practice, but I found today’s Giovanni quite tricky, with some unusual spellings thrown in, plus a grid that meant that each corner was quite isolated. Definitely *** difficulty.

Morning All!. I solved this after a good day at Wentworth watching the golf. There were some lovely clues here but too many charades, I felt. The lack of variation was apparent when blogging in order.

For me, an unfamiliar setter, but the puzzle is about what I’m used to on Wednesdays, so a 2*/3* for difficulty/enjoyment. Thanks to setter (don’t know who he/she is).

Another splendid start to a really lovely sunny Sunday morning. Took me a while to spot the well hidden anagram in 18d and as for ‘what’s contained in shot’ in 20d, that has to be the d’oh of the day.

We have another Wednesday treat from the wonderfully inventive Micawber. I thought it was fairly gentle and my main difficulty was deciding on exactly what to underline in a couple of the clues where the wordplay morphed (did you see what I did there?) into the definition.
