We have the usual polished puzzle from Giovanni this Friday. I enjoyed it a lot and it was perhaps slightly less difficult than usual (please remember that difficulty is very subjective and the grading can often depend on whether you get one key answer early on very quickly or not). Let us know how you found it in a comment.
To reveal an answer just highlight the space between the brackets under the clue.

Morning All!. I think that this week it was the turn of our mystery setter for the Saturday entertainment. There were a few clues that caused some trouble on the day but nothing too difficult. I made it up to 3 stars based on my own solving time and comments from the ‘blog. Continue reading “DT 26564”

This is a superb midweek Toughie from Osmosis, jam-packed with “penny-drop” moments. It’s not terribly difficult (nothing obscure) but it is tremendously entertaining. Let us know what you thought of it in a comment.

I feel like a circus performer working without a safety net tonight. In the past, Big Dave has always forwarded a copy of the completed grid as a backup in case I am unable to solve a clue. However, tonight I guess he decided to take the training wheels off the bike, as I did not find a filled in grid in the package. Luckily, it was not needed.
I awarded this puzzle two stars for difficulty, given that I was able to solve it without the need of electronic assistance.
