I’m feeling in a particularly good mood today (the start of the Six Nations rugby tournament always cheers me up) and I really enjoyed this Giovanni puzzle. Let us know whether you feel the same way about it in a comment.
The answers, should you need them, are lurking between the curly brackets under the clues. Highlight the space between the brackets to reveal one.

This is a pleasant, not overly difficult, Giovanni production. Let us know your views in a comment.

It felt a bit like being back at school doing “double science” today, but, as usual with Giovanni, the wordplay clearly points you to the answer (although I wasn’t too sure what some of the answers meant, even after consulting the dictionary!). In spite of that I did find it enjoyable – let us know what you thought of it in a comment.
To reveal an answer just highlight the space between the brackets under the clue.

I wasn’t that taken with this puzzle (presumably by Giovanni) when I solved it, because I am allergic to a high-anagram diet. However, I warmed to it somewhat when writing the review. Let us know your views in a comment.

This is the Christmas Eve puzzle from Rufus. He gave us a cracker with a seasonal theme and plenty of pies. If you have a feeling of deja vu about the review  you’re right  – this is pretty much what I published on Christmas Eve morning before  I realised that it was a  prize puzzle.

Morning All! Gazza has kindly agreed to vacate the chair for the day so you have the dubious pleasure of me reviewing the final back-page puzzle of the year.
It looks like we are back on track with our regular Friday setter, Giovanni, giving us a nice fun puzzle with a few clues to make you think. It’s good to see the more obscure words being clued in a slightly gentler fashion, 21d for example, is one that you can take a flier at then look up to confirm.

We have the usual Friday entertainment from Giovanni today. Let us know how you found it in a comment. Any errors on my part today can be put down to writing the blog at the same time as watching the cricket from Perth (a bit of a setback for England!).
If you need to check an answer just drag your cursor through the space between the brackets under the clue.

We have a typical Giovanni puzzle today. It does contain two words which were new to me, but in both cases the wordplay clearly leads us to the right answer. Let’s have a comment with your views!

A not too difficult puzzle from Giovanni today and I did waver between two and three stars for difficulty. A couple of the clues stand out for me. How about you? Let us know what you thought of it in a comment!
We get new readers all the time, so I’m sure that regulars will forgive the need for a constant reminder that the answers are concealed between the curly brackets under each clue. Just highlight the space between the brackets to reveal one.
