Morning All!. This was a pretty straightforward puzzle upon review And I can’t help feeling that 27a is unfair to the solver as the homophone does not exist as a word in itself. Let me know if I am missing something!

Another gentle stroll with my only hold-up being at 5 across. Crypticsue tells me that solvers using the version in the paper would find 25 down impossible because the last three words of the clue are missing.

Some will find this tough, others, like me, easy. Pick of the day is definitely the pun in the Quick crossword!

This is not the most difficult of Toughies but it’s one that I enjoyed. There is a bit of a mini-theme relating to old comic actors.
