After last week’s genuinely tough celebratory puzzle it’s back to Thursday normality this week with a very benign puzzle. Actually it’s a very pleasant puzzle with some nice clues but it caused me no problems whatsoever.

I thought this was one of Ray T’s easier puzzles, and my only complaint is that it was over too quickly.

Another fine Sunday outing for a Virgilius puzzle – my top favourites were 17a, 23a and 13d, but then there’s 26d and … but I don’t want to upset Kath so I had better stop now.
