MynoT’s last Toughie was all about the colour red so I was expecting a different colour this time because he likes to do series of themes. In fact today’s theme colour gives us a strong hint that he is making his way through the colours of the spectrum in the standard order (indigo should be interesting). I found this one quite a bit easier than his usual Toughies – let us know what you think in a comment. I’ve marked with an asterisk all the clues which I think are related to the theme – if I’ve missed any, let me know.

The sight of MynoT’s name as the setter should put you on the alert for a theme or hidden message. Today the theme is the colour red; I’ve identified the clues which I think relate to the theme by putting “**” at the start of the hint – can you spot any more?

Having done the other three groups of signs in previous puzzles, most of us were expecting that MynoT would be concentrating on the water signs today, and we were not disappointed. Themed puzzles tend to be a bit easier if you latch on to the theme.

Having worked out that Mynot’s latest project is to work through the Classical Elements, and Earth and Air having already been covered, I was expecting either Fire or Water and it turned out to be the former. I have highlighted the main clues with a thematic answer in green. Although all three Fire signs of the Zodiac are all present, two of them appear in modern form.
