Bradford’s book of crossword lists didn’t get an outing today but the BRB certainly did. The Pirate’s rewards 21a gets my COTD today but what was yours?
A generous 16a and 16d clues today and I have hinted half, a couple of the little ones (20a in particular) caused me some grief last night so some of the longer bits of Lego™ remain unhinted. I hope you find the checkers to fill the lights, but I will try and provide a nudge if you are struggling
Plenty to eat and drink today and a 15a selection of music and pics you should have a fine Sunday Solve

I found this at the tougher end of the spectrum last night but this morning it seems that I wasn’t paying attention to the tenses required. I am still a little puzzled by 7d, is it just referring to a budget hotel chain or am I missing something? I was – see Gazza’s comment and my revised clue
14a and 14d clues today and I have hinted half. I will try if possible to give a nudge for some of the unhinted clues

A very nice Toughie from Zandio today that didn’t keep me up too long last night, it didn’t seem much tougher than his Friday back pager but your experience may differ. He popped into Friday’s blog to tease 27a and I appreciate the name check 1a 14d and 25a can join the 4-way fight for the podium for me
I have hinted half of 14a and 14d clues today and hope you find the checkers to fill the lights. A bonus nudge may be available if my day out with Mama Bee permits internet access

Robyn brings us one of his “list” puzzles today and 19d apart it didn’t give me too much grief last night, parsing 19d took longer than the rest of the puzzle put together but at least I learned something about French Revolutionary Writers and Chinese gold measures. Bradfords failed to find the writer and the gold measure

I have hinted just under half of the clues so will try and give a nudge if required, but 19d apart I didn’t find it too tough

Starting with a Spoonerism and a couple of compound clues (one unhinted
) it has to be proXimal
24a is not quite as regular as I would like but can’t find a better interpretation
We have 14a and 14d clues today and I have hinted half, a few unhinted clues may still be a bit tricky so I will give a nudge to the first to ask
