Another enjoyable Sunday puzzle, just right for sitting in the garden with a schooner of sherry in one hand and a pencil in the other!

This one was a bit of a stroll in the park. It was still enjoyable, but I do prefer my puzzles to be a bit harder than this was.

I did this puzzle on Sunday afternoon, while away for the weekend with no internet or dictionaries to hand. And what a pleasure it was.

The latest of a string of excellent Sunday puzzles. It still seems odd to be writing a review having enjoyed the puzzle as I got used to the old-style over several years . No more sucking the teeth or stabbing an effigy of the setter with my pencil!

As I wrote last Sunday, I found it a little easier this week – on a par with the average daily puzzle. My feedback, private and public, is mixed but generally in favour of the change in style.

Another hard but satisfying Sunday puzzle, although I do feel that when the first letter is unchecked in 20 of the answers, out of a total of 28, it does make for a difficult puzzle.
