Morning all and welcome to a RayThursday. I don’t think you’ll find this puzzle too difficult but it’s a “proper” RayT with a few stretched synonyms, a bit of innuendo and Her Majesty on parade. You’ll need your lateral thinking cap in some places but I found it a lot of fun.

Morning all and welcome to a non-RayT Thursday. Nothing in this one to frighten any horses but there is plenty to entertain them. There seem to be a lot of clues requiring insertions and several are indicated in the same way which is my only criticism of an otherwise splendid puzzle.

Good morning everyone and welcome to what I’m pretty sure is a non-RayT Thursday, but I’m not going to hazard a guess as to the setter. The puzzle was easily finished and would have been a 1* apart from one clue which held out for quite some time and pushed me into 2* time. I’ll be interested to see how you all got on with it.

Hello and welcome to another RayT Thursday. All the hallmarks are there and there’s a few bits of synonym stretching as well so I guess we’ll get some complaints from the usual suspects. Her Majesty is on parade and all the clues are short but there’s very little smut so it was a little disappointing for me as I likes a bit of smut in my crosswords. I’ve gone for *** difficulty but that’s probably just because I put a wrong answer into 27a which caused a bit of a problem. You’ll all probably say it’s only a ** but I can only rate it as I found it.

It’s Thursday, it’s my turn to blog and it’s a RayT day which almost makes up for the fact it’s raining (yet again!). I’m beginning to think that the rain in Spain falls mainly on the Vega Baja!
It’s pretty normal stuff from RayT including a couple of lurkers, a first letters clue and a few bits of innuendo but, at least for me. it didn’t quite reach the normal enjoyment level. There are six anagrams to get you started so I don’t think we’ll have as many negative comments as usual.

Hola from the Vega Baja on a bright and sunny morning. Looks like a nice day ahead once it warms up a bit.
Maybe it’s me not being on good form today, or perhaps RayT took on board my comment that his last puzzle was the easiest ever, because either way this one is a much sterner test, or at least I thought so. It’s the usual 4* enjoyment though as there are some clever bits of wordplay and some amusing surfaces. A lot of you disagreed last time so it will be interesting to see how you found this week’s offering.

Hola from the Vega Baja where the Indian summer continues. It was shorts weather yesterday, which is most unusual in November, and it’s looking pretty good for today.
Perhaps it’s just me being on good form today, and I’m sure that there will be some who disagree, but I found this to be the easiest RayT puzzle ever. On first pass I got all but two of the acrosses and then every one of the downs so the whole thing was over in a flash. It did raise a few smiles along the way and I enjoyed it while it lasted so I’ve gone for 4* enjoyment. I’ll be interested to see how you all found it.

Hola from the Vega Baja where we seem to be having a short return of summer, forecast of 28C this afternoon. It was a bit chilly this morning when I started on the puzzle though.
I’ve an idea who might have set this one but I’m keeping quiet as I’m usually wrong about setters. Whoever it was has given us an enjoyable puzzle which I don’t thing will frighten too many horses, although I was very close to three star time.

Hola from the Vega Baja where it looks like autumn is arriving as there was a distinct chill in the air this morning. I’m pretty sure that this is a RayT as it’s all short clues and it has three lurkers and a first letters clue. However, there’s a much larger than normal anagram count (6), Her Majesty hasn’t come out to play and the synonyms aren’t squealing much so perhaps it isn’t he after all. I thought it was at least as tricky as the last RayT a couple of weeks ago that seemed to frighten everyone’s horses so I’ll be interested to see what you all think of it.
