Even if the lack of professionalism at Telegraph HQ meant that you had a delayed start to this puzzle you should have been able to make up time, because it doesn’t pose too many problems. There are several “old friends” (e.g. 9a and 2d) sprinkled through it.

Miffypops enjoyed a long lazy day out on Saturday with the best lunch of the year so far at The Three Tuns in Henley-On-Thames whose valiant Rugby team lost to Coventry by 10 points to 18. Some Brakspear’s Bitter was consumed. Just a small hint today. 25ac does not begin with the letter O.
