Recommended to all. As BD says, it has a couple of tricky clues but very enjoyable solve. If I can track down a missing Gnome, there may be a review later, joint or otherwise!!

Thank you to Prolixic for the puzzle. As there are no “6 nations” matches & we have a fine mizzle outside then this is the only thing to look forward to apart from a home cooked lasagne & a chilled bottle of Pinot Grigio (or 2!) later this evening with my sons.
I came to this one a day late and enjoyed it, so thanks to Prolixic. It did seem a fair bit easier than his usual brainstretchers – he must be mellowing as he gets older! Having said that, I don’t understand how the answer to 8d means maligned.
