The puzzle came together quite steadily last night but some of the parsings came on a much later bus, particularly the school lesson. The Reverend Spooner gave me a bit of a fright but not for long today.
14a and 16d clues and I have done my best to keep hints down to half, as ever I remain available for extra nudges if required.

Zandio with a tricky but solvable Toughie today, as usual, I have run out of hints before all the tricky ones are hinted so if you want an extra nudge ask away and I will try to help
An even 14a 14d clues today and I have hinted half(ish) with a couple of bonuses, don’t forget the Maxim of when in doubt look for a lurker ( both forward and backwards today)

A not-too-tough toughie today from Robyn – about Tuesday Toughie or Weds/Thursday back pager level I think.
A slightly imbalanced 16a 14d clues today and I have hinted half – I hope you find enough checkers to get over the line.
After getting to the end 25d I am somewhat esurient so I may have to have a cheese sandwich!

A not as tough as he could be from proXimal today, getting the four long answers got me plenty of checkers. I have even had time to parse and write the review for a week on Wednesday, so If you need a little nudge on unhinted clues just ask
14a and 14d clues today and I have hinted half (ish), Plenty of Lego today but it was the little four-letter ones that amused me most today.
I have just noticed that he has set the EV today too, if my brain is up to it I would be interested to see how they compare

It took a while to get going last night but when the Ladies of Nashville appeared twice and energy food three times, all in the acrosses – it gave me pause to think but it slowly unfolded. A famous 7d Wimbledon Men’s Champion gets a mention on finals day and in 16d I see a regular commenter who is a bit busy marking post-grad essays at the moment.
There are a couple of reverse lurkers with dodgy (to me) indicators, only one of which is hinted, and I have run out of hints before 20d so you will have to decide yourself on which came first but 9a-1a would be a suitable meal for Zandio. I am feeling quite peckish now, but I am not 20d, so would like to add bacon
