Ooh a Robyn – he was given a Sunday off (for good behaviour perhaps) but after a Beamish interlude he is back with a delightful Sunday Toughie

We have 16a and 14d clues and I have hinted half. I am sure some tricky ones remain unhinted so I will try and provide an extra nudge if you get stuck

Here we go…

Hexagonal grids are far from unknown in the world of the themed puzzle, and they are more common now that there is software out there to create and fill them, but I can’t find any record of a hexagonal EV having appeared previously, at least not in recent years.

My last blog before Santa Clause Comes to Town It isn’t terribly Christmassy so I will decorate the blog with a few Christmassy bits and pieces.

We have 14a and 14d clues and I have tried to limit hints to half, but a few bonus hints may pop up here and there

Firstly, I would like to wish all EV solvers a very happy Christmas. ‘Tis the season when the sort of ‘jokes’ that I tell all year round are briefly back in fashion (of a sort). Sunday Telegraph Cryptic No 3296 (Hints)

Hints and tips by Senf

A very good Sunday morning from Winnipeg where we are on something of a temperature roller coaster; minus 20s in the week just completed, forecast to ‘warm up’ to minus 1 by ‘the day’ on Wednesday, and cooling down again for the start of 2025 with, of course, occasional sprinklings of the fluffy white stuff.… Continue reading

Problems printing last night have delayed this a bit but I liked the trademark proXimalisms and the Star Trek references.

We have 14a and 14d clues and I have hinted half and a few bonus pics. I hope you find the checkers to get over the line

Got to go and keep the shopaholic Mama Bee happy but I will be back by the time this is published.

Here we go, Folks…
