As with last Saturday’s puzzle, there is nothing here to trouble the moderately experienced solver. For the weekend prize crosswords I will select a few of the better clues and provide hints for them. Sunday Telegraph Cryptic No 2470
A harder than usual Sunday puzzle

I rated this as hard because I found it difficult to get started in three out of the four corners. Most of the answers are everyday words, but you do have to work a bit harder than with the weekday cryptics.

If you have come across here from Crossword ends in violence, then you probably have seen my contributions before. As I mentioned elsewhere on this site, I intend to give substantial hints and tips for the weekday crosswords, but for Saturday I will select a few of the better clues and provide hints for them.
It’s been a struggle finding any clues worth giving hints, this is one of the easiest prize crosswords for a long time.
