Evening All! I am really late on this review due to personal excesses over the Christmas and New Year Periods. My apologies. We had a nice NINA of ‘FEAST OF STEPHEN’ (this being such a date!) hidden in the unchecked letters on the Left and Right of the finished solution. THEN when we looked at the Across and Down clues we noticed that the initial letters of the clues (an acrostic) also spelled out the same. Well done the setter.

Morning All and a Happy New Year!. Apologies for the two late reviews – I was involved in a couple of impromptu parties which diverted my attention somewhat!. We have a festive puzzle from Brian Greer themed around the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ song. I have highlighted the themed clues in BLUE.

Morning All! This was a three-star puzzle for difficulty and had some lovely observationl clues where you had to look hard to find and follow the instructions.

Morning All! – This one went in so quickly that I blinked and missed it. There was not too much to entertain apart from some nice anagram indicators. Personally I prefer a stiffer challenge.

Morning All!. I think that everyone liked the superb hidden clue (lurker) at 5d but my favourite by a country mile was the &Lit at 8d. Equally there were some very good, succinct clues that posed some difficulties due to the good surface readings. Excellent!

Morning All! I found this a two star puzzle for difficulty. A couple of old chestnuts made it easier for the newcomers and a couple of trickier clues ept my interest up.
