A very good Sunday morning from Winnipeg where, as you may have seen in my SPP Comment yesterday, on Friday, we woke up to fog!
For me, and I stress for me, unless my brain is still ‘fogged,’ Dada very quirky – two anagrams (one partial), two lurkers, and one homophone all in an asymmetric 29 clues; with 14.5 hints, plus a bonus 0.5 of a hint, ‘sprinkled’ throughout the grid, you should be able to get the checkers to enable the solving of the unhinted clues. … Continue reading

Beam is here to delight his many fans again (he seems to appear regularly on a 4-week cycle). He’s included all his usual trademarks and as always provides a few synonyms that require some head-scratching.
I was held up for some time on 6d as I read the first word of the clue as ‘flat’ – I do need to go to Specsavers!
