      1. Definitely a Specsavers moment – I only noticed when the spellchecker on Word flagged it when I was drafting the review

  1. Somewhat of a brain mangler, but not as bad as some from Prolixic. I did need some e-help especially for the NHS group and old MP. Then there was a frown for the ‘outdated’ version of Inuktitut.

    Smiles for 10a, 1d, 6d, 14d, and especially 15d.

Thanks to Prolixic and in advance to CS.

  2. A dnf from me as, with the south fairly complete, I could not get a foothold in the north without revealing the odd clue or two. Even with the reveal I’m still stumped as to how 1a relates to a kitchen member, so I look forward to CS’ review. 15d is my cotd. Thanks to Prolixic for the challenge on a wet and windy Saturday and in advance to CS.

  3. :phew: Senf is right – this was a definite brain mangler, but I did enjoy it when I finally crawled over the line.

In 6a, I think that NICE is independent and not part of the NHS.

    12a & 5d were my joint favourites.

    Many thanks to Prolixic.
