  1. For me, much easier than the puzzle on the other channel, and very enjoyable.
    19/21a, 1d, and 15d get my votes.

Many thanks to Django and to ALP.
    1*/4.5*

  2. A friendly offering from Django, but entertaining nonetheless.
The 500 diamonds being cut in 4d and Eric Idle with his underwear at 7d were my top two .
My thanks to Django and ALP.

I recall a song by Loudon Wainwright lll about a dead skunk in the middle of the road, stinking to high heaven. They don’t write ’em like that anymore..

  3. Always love a Django puzzle & this one no exception though I’d give his Tues puzzle in the Graun the edge over this one. As ever neat wordplay & I’m with Frankie for the picks.
Thanks both – will read the review & listen to the tunes later as the 18th green has now cleared

  4. Surprisingly gentle for a Django production – thanks to him for the entertainment and to ALP for the review.
I liked 7d and 21d but my outstanding favourite was 19/21a.

  5. This was very enjoyable and imo much better than the back pager today.

Some very nice clues, going to vote for 10a as Mr SC is a fifth child (known as the DIY grandchild in his family) anyway as no 5 he is blessed with the middle name of Quentin. there was lots of spluttering from the audience when we married and it became known.

  6. At the more gentle end of the spectrum but still still needed some careful thinking about, high on the enjoyment factor though. Favourite was 15d. Thanks to Django and ALP.
