Hola from Almoradí where summer has now arrived. We had 34°C yesterday and it’s staying around 20°C overnight. We had the A/C on to cool our bedroom last night before getting on the bed without a sheet over us.
I think today’s puzzle is by the same setter as the last one I blogged two weeks ago. Like that puzzle it’s not too difficult and there’s a couple of gimmes and six anagrams to get you off to a good start. Again, I don’t think many of you will need these hints.

Hola from Almoradí where we aren’t having a public holiday so I’m not on double time!
Another good Monday puzzle today. Not too hard but a wide range of clue types and some great surfaces. There’s six anagrams and two lurkers so there’s plenty of checkers available. I’ve no idea who the setter is but perhaps he or she will call in to take the credit for a very enjoyable puzzle.

Hola from Almoradí where spring has made a welcome return. The weather is really very nice at the moment with blue skies, light wind and temperatures reaching the mid-twenties during the afternoons. From now on it will slowly get hotter and hotter until we get to mid-August.
I don’t think many of you will need the hints today as the puzzle has six anagrams and a few gimmes so there’s plenty of checkers available to help with the rest of the clues. I’ll be interested in your comments to see if I’m right.

Hola from Almoradí where spring seems to have taken a break. The weather has turned cold and wet and it was so dark yesterday that we had the light on in the kitchen all day! Today’s looking pretty much the same! The forecast says that normal service won’t be resumed until Thursday!
Nothing to frighten the horses today but 18d did give me “pause for thought” as they say. There’s six clues involving anagrams so there’s plenty of checkers easily available. I don’t think many of you will need the hints today.

Hola from Almoradí on a bright and sunny morning. Spring has definitely sprung now and people, even Spanish, are beginning to appear wearing shorts. Not me thought. The temperature has to top 25°C for me to get the shorts out!
Today’s crossword is the usual Monday fare. Mostly straightforward but with a couple to scratch the head over. It didn’t help that I mistyped the last letter of 26d as an E which made 30a impossible. Spotted my error eventually and all was well.
Not sure about the setter as, unless I’m missing something, there’s only one pun in the quick crossword.

Hola from Almoradí where we’ve had practically no rain at all since last September. Easter Sunday arrives, when there’s a big parade scheduled, and what happens? You got it, it peed down all day! Parade cancelled!
As to the crossword it’s pretty much as I’ve come to expect on a Monday. Nothing to frighten the horses but perhaps a couple of tricky ones lurking in the mix.

Hola from Almoradí where spring has unsprung itself in the last few days and it’s been very windy. Apparently there was a tornado on the other side of town from where I live last Saturday that did a fair bit of damage to sun awnings and suchlike.
Today’s puzzle has to be a Campbell as there are three puns in the quickie. On the whole it’s not too tricky but, as usual, there are a couple of head-scratchers. I enjoyed it and I’ll be interested to hear what you all thought of it.

Hola from Almoradí where spring appears to have sprung! We’ll probably go back to winter next week but I’m currently enjoying an unseasonal spell of warm sunny days.
Today’s puzzle is about par for a Monday. There’s two puns in the Quickie so I’m supposing it’s a Campbell production. It certainly didn’t frighten the horses but it was a bit of fun while it lasted.

Hola from Almoradí on a beautiful cloudless morning, which makes a nice change from the heavy overcast we’ve had for the last few days. We had the lights on all day yesterday because it was so dark!
There are two puns in the Quickie so I’m guessing we have a Campbell production today. I thought it was at the easier end of his spectrum and nearly went for * difficulty as I got all but three of the acrosses on first pass.
