200g pack of kippers
2 tbsp soft cheese with chives
1 tsp whole grain mustard
1 tsp horseradish sauce
½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
salt and freshly ground black pepper
|Method||1. Pierce one side of the pack of kippers, place on a non-metallic plate, cover and heat on full power in a microwave for 3 minutes.
2. Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
3. Transfer to a dish, cover with cling film and chill in the fridge for a couple of hours before using.
4. Serve with buttered toast or crisp bread.
