Good morning from South Staffs, where we have a bright start to the day but the threat of rain later.

Some fairly easy anagrams gave me an entry into today’s Giovanni, and there was nothing too obscure in the rest of the puzzle, so ** difficulty for me.… Read More

Good morning from South Staffs, where the sun is trying to beak through the early morning cloud.

Nothing too frightening from Giovanni this morning, and I at least was helped by the number of clues with a local reference.… Read More

Good morning from South Devon, where I’m playing in a croquet tournament this week. I’m a bit short of time, so no pictures this week.

Plenty of anagrams and part anagrams this week from Giovanni, making this a fairly straightforward solve for me.… Read More

Good morning from South Staffs on a cloudy, slightly damp Friday.

For some reason the puzzles website started the day listing this as DT 32455, rather than the 28413 which it ought to be.… Read More

Good morning from South Staffs where the day has started grey and overcast.

I found today’s Giovanni quite tricky in places. At one stage I had the right-hand side of the grid filled in while the left was blank, then the SW corner fell, followed eventually by the NW quadrant.… Read More

Good morning from South Staffs this Good Friday morning.

There are no seasonal references from Giovanni this morning – in fact this puzzle is resolutely secular. It took me a little while to get into, but once I’d spotted the anagram in 1a answers fell into place steadily.… Read More

Good morning from South Staffs on a bright, sunny morning.

Plenty of General Knowledge needed this morning, with perhaps an emphasis on matters nautical and ornithological. But the wordplay from Giovanni should enable solvers to reach the right answers.… Read More
