Tilsit had forgotten that an ambulance was arriving this morning, so I have put this review together at short notice.
Another excellent puzzle from Notabilis. I thought afterwards that maybe I should have solved it more quickly than I did. The puzzle is littered with the usual superb clues, with a number of “Doh!” moments.

There’s little to be feared in today’s puzzle from Ray T as long as you ignore the surface readings and seek out the definitions.

To date Dada’s Toughies have appeared on Thursday, Wednesday and Tuesday in that order. Today completes the second cycle, and what a wonderful puzzle this is. I’m yet to be convinced about 14 across, but there is much to enjoy among the rest of the clues, with the blue highlighter being liberally used.

Today’s Cryptic puzzle took me less time to complete than the “Quick” crossword. Old hands should zoom through this one, recognising a number of old chestnuts along the way.

This middle-of-the road, in terms of difficulty, Toughie was quite enjoyable. A number of the clues use bits of words, like a trio meaning the first three letters, but you get used to them.

This puzzle is not by Ray T (that’s for Brian and Co.). I’m fibbing (that’s for everyone else)!

If you are in Scotland and have been given Toughie 758 by mistake, drop me a line and I’ll send you a pdf of today’s puzzle!
Warbler has given us the usual fairly easy start to the Toughie week. There are two sets of answers which are linked to 11 across and 19 down respectively.

Two puzzles from Ray T this week, and I get to review both of them (and I reviewed an Arachne Quiptic on fifteensquared)! A touch more innuendo than we have seen of late, but this is tame stuff by Ray’s normal standards. But we do get a visit from the Queen.

Another fine puzzle from Ray T’s alter ego.
