RIP Pam Morton (Mrs BD)

RIP Pam Morton (Mrs BD)

I regret to advise that Pam Morton (known to all of us as Mrs BD) sadly died last week. It is hard to imagine how devasting this must be for Big Dave as they had been married for over fifty-five years and were devoted to each other. His own health remains much the same but his son, sister and his carers are all looking after him.

Although BD is the ‘face’ of the blog, I am sure he would not have been able to devote such a lot of time and effort to keeping it running so successfully without Pam’s support in the background.

I can’t find a photo of Dave and Pam together but this is a photo of her taken at the wedding of John Henderson (Elgar) and Jane Teather back in July 2010 (I did try and edit out the wheelie bin!)

Although it is appreciated that not many of us would be able to attend, Dave wished me to inform you that the funeral will be on the 11th April at 2 pm at St Gabriel’s Church, Hanley Swan. Donations in Pam’s memory in aid of St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester can be sent to Spilsbury Funeral Directors, 12 Upper Howsell Road, Malvern WR14 1TL
