MPP – 105

Monthly Prize Puzzle (Feb 2021)

A Puzzle by Radler

+ – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – +

Why not have a go at our latest Monthly Prize Puzzle?

The winner will receive their choice of any of the Telegraph Crossword Books.

Please note that, due to punitive postal charges, while the competition is open to all, the prize is only available to UK solvers.

A review will follow after the closing date (20th Feb 2021).

The competition is now closed

The puzzle is available by clicking on the above grid.

Please read the instructions very carefully and note, in particular, that the extra letters are those generated by the wordplay that are not to be entered into the grid, which is not necessarily the same as extra letters in the clue, and that the answer required is an English Nursery Rhyme.

I’ve left this post open for comments, but if you don’t want your comment to be deleted then do not provide any help for other solvers or mention any detail about the puzzle, especially references to individual clues, until after the closing date.

    1. I don’t know how to make the puzzle appear but I’m sure Dave will be on the case shortly.

  1. I completed Radler’s NTSPP-561 just a couple of days ago so had a good limber up for this month’s MPP. As always from Radler, a nice challenge and lots of fun to unravel the wordplays and theme elements. With my answer submitted I can now sit back and enjoy the rugby! Thank you, Radler, and thank you BD for making it all possible.

  2. Wow! The sound! What a nice composition! Although my grid is not full, I think I have the answer. But still, I would like to complete the puzzle first and I would like to give it a second try a week later.

  3. Huge penny-drop moment. That had me working very had and so satisfying to eventually get it sorted.
    Thanks Radler.

  4. Yeah – I’ve beaten the fiend!
Several tricky moments, a great deal of fun and an enormous sense of satisfaction when the answer finally became clear.
Thank you, Radler, I very much enjoyed that battle.
