  1. Balderdash – I’ve got a full grid but can’t fathom out enough of the extra letters to make a sensible clue. The fiend has me in his grasp!
    3&7d definitely get my votes.

Thanks to Mr Radler delayed until I’ve defeated him!

    1. Dear goodness, that penny was a long time in dropping!
Many thanks, Radler, that’s a few brain cells now in need of recovery time…………

  2. It’s a Radler so I didn’t expect to get much – I am surprised to have got 8….. I’ll keep trying, but not holding out much hope of getting an entry.

  3. After a huge struggle I have a filled grid but like Jane cannot get from there to the answer to the question. Will keep trying.

  4. :phew: What a struggle! I’ve worked out the extra clue and relevant answer. However I’ve got one across answer which doesn’t seem to have an extra letter – although I know what letter it must be. I’ve also got two answers not fully parsed which I’m going to sleep on.

That was challenging enough to solve, so it is mind-boggling how hard it must have been to set. Respect and thanks, Radler.

  5. After longer then I normally could (should / would?) spend and a lot of e-help, I’ve got enough answers to be able to submit an answer! I’ll keep trying on the 4 remaining clues in the bottom LH corner so I’ve completed the grid.

    Thanks for the challenge, Radler.

  6. Getting more and more used to Radler now.
    Very clever crossword.
The Mexican wave made me laugh.
    Favourite 16d.
    Thanks for the challenge.

  7. Although the SE corner proved to be really challenging and took a much longer time, yet the last of the 4-worded clue could be rightly guessed enough to get the relevant answer. The extra clue was, indeed, superb. Tonnes of thanks to Radler for the innovation. My favourites among the normal clues were 5d and 14d.

  8. On the one hand I am delighted to have completed the grid , all but one, of a Radler crossword.

On the other hand, I cannot fit what I have for the clue to any of the solutions.

Ho hum. Think 20d is my favourite at this point.

  9. Looking forward to today’s review – 12a has been bugging me for weeks.

The MPP is always one of my favourite puzzles!

Thanks to Radler for this one & BD for the idea in the first place.
