  1. Although I already had the answer sorted out I needed overnight cogitation to finally get the last few tricky clues worked out to complete the grid.
Certainly a significant challenge and very satisfying to solve.
    Thanks Radler.

      1. I’ve spent longer than that and I’ve just finished the right hand side. Left is remarkably blank :negative:

  2. Finally limped across the finishing line but have several question marks where some of the parsing is concerned. Like Colin, I had what I thought was the answer quite a while before the last few clues were solved – SO frustrating.
You almost won this time, Mr Radler!

  3. As usual, quite a tricky one from Radler, but an enjoyable solve nonetheless. I do have a minor niggle with 4a, which concerns the nationality used in the clue, but it’s a bit of a pedantic point and didn’t affect the enjoyment of the puzzle. Favourites were 24a, 29a, 7d and 22d.

    Thanks Radler.

  4. :phew: That was a real Toughie which took me far more time than I could spare, but, each time I felt I’d had enough and should give up, I managed to get one more answer which kept me going. I can’t say I really enjoyed it but it’s nice to have finished it and I’ve only got three unparsed answers.
Thank you Radler and in advance to CS (?).

    1. It’s amazing. Having posted that after struggling with my three unparsed clues for ages, the penny finally dropped on two of them. One to go …

  5. Hooray!
Took me years to solve a Radler.
    Finally done it.
Just for that, I shall enter the forbidden draw.
Thanks to Radler for such a clever achievement.
