I hightly recommend Prolixic’s latest NTSPP. Tricky in places but well worth looking at over lunch. If you are stuck, my suitably illustrated

Take crypticsue’s advice – this is an excellent crossword,. Thank you Prolixic. My clue of the day is 3d – one of my favourite characters in one of my favourite books.
I did it in corners – just how it went – top left, bottom right, top right and then finally the bottom left with the last one in 19d – clever clue.
Sun is shining and all I have been doing seems to be puzzles – must do something else!!!
Excellent puzzle – thanks to Prolixic. Lots of penny-drop moments – my favourite clues were 1a, 3d and 21d.
