1. Many congratulations Big Dave. Is that a silver, gold or platinum disc ?????

   1. I think that it must be a triple-platinum.

      1. Not like the old values when artists had to genuinely sell a million copies to get a platinum disc, seems now that top of the best sellers list can be achieved with far less than that and can be manipulated. However lets not get into that, again many, many congratulations on your blogs achievement, how long has the 3 million mark taken ????

         1. Just over twenty six months.

            The 2,000,000 barrier was passed on 17th October last year (just under six months ago).

         2. The two million mark was on 17 October so just under 6 months.

3. Its a year next week that I first became a lurker. Thank you very very much Big Dave for the best year of my cryptic solving life. Many congratulations on reaching the 3 million mark.

   1. That’s a difficult call. At the current monthly rate it should be the end of next February but who knows?

    I think it’s probably about a year since I found this blog and started lurking – I know, because you told me not so long ago, that I first dared to crawl out of “lurkers corner” and comment on May 13th last year.
