Peter Harvey, known on Fifteensquared as Kathryn’s Dad, has arranged a lunchtime get-together for solvers, setters and bloggers in Derby on Saturday 29th January. Over 40 people have already replied, so it should be an unmissable event.
The venue will be The Waterfall, Midland Railway Institute Building, Railway Terrace, Derby, DE1 2RU which is a thirty second walk from Derby train station. There’s also plenty of parking in the vicinity. For those wishing to dine, lunch will be at 12:30 for 1:00pm in the Executive Bar. Main courses are around £8, so it shouldn’t break the bank .
What’s it about? Simply a congenial, Midlands-based lunch for folk who are interested in crosswords. A chance to natter about crosswords and gossip relentlessly. But most importantly, an opportunity to meet some of the setters that entertain us each day. Anax, Elgar/Enigmatist/Nimrod, Kruger, Orense, Orlando, Raich, Rufus, Shed and Tyrus have already indicated their intention to attend.

Because of the numbers attending, The Waterfall have requested that starters and main courses are ordered in advance, so if you can let Peter know at the same time that will be a great help.
