Cracking crossword. Learnt several new words, all manageable from the clues. Thanks Bufo for an excellent workout and I wholeheartedly endorse the special message.
Splendid crossword. I did need the message to get the correct word at 20a – there is an alternative working of the anagram which means something quite different to the correct answer

Excellent workout from Bufo. Many thanks to him, particularly for providing accessible clues for the more obscure words. Favourite clues were 13a and 3d. The message is heartily endorsed. With a bit of luck and a following wind, I will be back later with a review.
