A very nice puzzle from Radler today – the first one I have ever managed in a reasonable time which I think may be due to there not being a theme a I couldn’t get!! I did like the Ninas round the sides. However, I am not sure why 28d is what it is. Thanks Radler for the friendlier challenge.
28d GB gives you the initials of a playwright. Also, Simon, with this name is a second-row forward for the British & Irish Lions (Great Britain?). A bit of specialist knowledge required?
Thanks to Radler for another very entertaining outing.
The “Professional player” in the clue refers to Martin who played one of The Professionals; GB, as gazza notes, refers to the playwright
oops, and there I was thinking that Simon fitted the clue. Thanks, Radler.
Thanks to both. It would have taken me a while to get there as I wasn’t a fan of the Professionals and my knowledge of rugby is even less.
