Sheltering from the heat and humidty over lunch, this was a nice diversion from gardening! Many thanks to Radler for the puzzle. Favourite clue was 1a.
Thanks to Radler for a very enjoyable puzzle. The only clue that I thought was a bit “iffy” was 2d – I’ve never heard Sid Waddell call double 20 that! Favourite clue: 19a.
I can’t decide whether no-one else has done this yet or everyone is struggling like me. I have done about half, have tried 4o winks as advised by American uni but am going to put it down until tomorrow and try again. Definitely not going to give up as I do like a challenge.
Printed out today but the grid did not print and I only noticed this evening.
Will be looked at tonight judging from the comments!
