Rishi has reported that the snow effect can cause problems with some browsers. If it is causing any difficulties, it can be turned off – please let me know.

No difficulties here, although I suspect that once 5 pixels of snow have accumulated at the bottom of the screen the entire south of England will grind to a halt and stranded commuters will be forced to eat their own clothes.
Fine with my browser, too. And I love the effect and the seasonal pictures. Just what I needed to cheer up a difficult week.
I just wonder how many more people might be at home doing the crosswords today. At least the cryptic and toughie will both keep the brain from freezing over!
