ScrewedUp News – Oct 11

Edition 22

+ – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – +

Its been a while since we had to post a ScrewedUp News item. August 1st was the last time.
Has anybody noticed where Sunday’s Quick Crossword No. 72 is?
Because it seems to be missing. The last Quick crossword is currently Saturday’s No. 26056

Update: 10.42am UK Time, Monday 12th October
I have just checked to see if No. 72 has turned up (sounds like waiting for a bus) and it has. If you want to print a copy from ScrewedUp etc you now can.

Sent an Email to the telegraph at about 8am complaining about the lack of ‘Quick crossword’, heard nothing apart from automated reply!

Have just realised that Phil McNeil along with Big Dave, will be at Cheltenham supporting Peteb. and Tilsit in ‘The Times Crossword competition’, so no wonder Cluedup has gone to pot!.

As far as I am aware, Phil McNeill was not at Cheltenham. Tilsit did not enter – it was Peter B and Elgar.

According to an earlier comment from Dave
“From memory, Peter B was 5th and John H was 10th.”

Thanks – didn’t see the earlier comment – sorry. Well done both of them.
