ScrewedUp News – Apr 6
Edition 15
+ – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – +
This has been a disastrous weekend for subscribers to the ScrewedUp site. This morning we can add DT Cryptic 25895, Quick Crossword 25895 and Herculis 12258 to those missing from the weekend (Quick Crossword No 45, Enigmatic Variations No 857 and GK Quick No 89).
Good news for Mrs BD and other lovers of Codewords and Sudoku – you’re OK!!
I see that yesterday’s EV and today’s Herculis have now appeared.
The others are slowly trickling out – Quick Crossword No 45 and GK Quick No 89 already, but not yet tyhe one we are all waiting for!!
What they have put up is called No 25 (Quick and Cryptic) – is this the same one as in the newspaper?
If it is a new one, then 153 people have alreaady played the quick crossword!!
The cryptic (numbered 25 !) has now appeared, but not on the front page – I found it via Crossword Puzzles, then Cryptic.
You can access today’s Cryptic and Quick by clicking on ‘Latest Puzzles.
But are they the correct ones?
I am unsure – certainly the Quick No. 25 – it seems an old one, because I have “already” supposedly played it……
Whatever Cryptic 25 is, or was, it has now disappeared.
This is almost as exciting as doing the crossword – Cryptic 25 has disappeared now.
Words like p***-up and brewery come to mind!
Quick 25.
Looking at the puzzle ID code (6236) from the URL for printing this puzzle
http://www.clueduppuzzles.telegraph.co.uk/site/print_crossword?id=6236
and at the puzzle IDs either side of it, it is from around 14/15 November 2008.
DT Cryptic 25895 has arrived! See you later.
Quick 25895 is there now!
What fun.
But quick 25895 turns out to be the same as quick 25.
